We hope everyone had a fantastic Independence Day weekend. Thank you to the members of the Armed Forces and to everyone who is contributing or has contributed to maintaining our free nation.
The Mason & Associates office re-opened a little over a month ago. Since our re-opening, we have not been exposed to COVID-19 and everyone on the team has a clean bill of health. Although we feel safe in our environment, we must remain vigilant and aware of the potential risks. Our initial goal was to open the office for in person meetings again beginning this week. However, after assessing the current landscape and deep consideration, for the safety of our team, our families, and our clients’ families, we have determined the safest course of action is to continue to delay in person meetings until further notice. We will continue to hold Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, and Introductory meetings via Join.me (web conference) or by phone. We remain available to our clients during this challenging time and ask for your support as we try to navigate these uncharted waters.
Our goal is to minimize the traffic through our office, but we realize that certain items may still require in person action. For example, we provide notary and witness services to our clients who have recently completed their estate planning documents and we are able to Medallion Signature Guarantee transfer forms for new and existing clients. In these two instances, we have a signing table that is placed outside of our main office. Please bring your driver’s license so that we may identify you properly and please wear a mask. The Mason team member who greets you will be wearing a mask and will maintain a safe distance.
We recognize that this change may be difficult for some and hope that it is a temporary change. Our web conference solution, Join.me, does not require any software downloads if accessed via the Google Chrome web browser. We do recommend downloading the application at join.me/apps. Nicole Flowers has done an excellent job preparing our new and existing clients for these meetings and is available if you’d like to do a trial run before the scheduled meeting with your financial planning team.
